Happy 80th Birthday Tom Chisholm

Blake Group’s very own Tom Chisholm has recently turned 80 and is still working away. Tom has worked at Blake Group most of his working life and is also a lifelong Hearts fan.  

Tom had the privilege of representing the company James Blake & Co.(Eng) Ltd. when called upon to lead solder the time capsule for the McRae’s Battalion Monument in Contalmaison, France in 2004 by the author of McRae’s Battalion and Trustee, Jack Alexander.

Tom was incredibly proud to be part of that project and when we contacted Heart of Midlothian FC to see if they could help us with Tom’s birthday celebrations they were very glad to contribute. 

Hearts FC Principal Ambassador Gary Locke, arranged a tour of Tynecastle and Tom even got to meet some of the players.

Tom and his wife Jeanette then enjoyed a lovely meal up in the Skyline Restaurant courtesy of Blake Group.
