Blake Group Update: Tank Refurbishment and Production Progress

Blake Group is pleased to share a significant update from our production line, highlighting continued progress across multiple tank refurbishment and production projects as we prepare for upcoming customer deliveries.

We have recently received four tanks back from the painters, each now finished to a high standard and ready for the next stage of preparation. This batch includes one fuel tank, two clean oil tanks, and one waste oil tank. With protective coatings now applied, these units are entering the final phase where they will be fully kitted out with the necessary components before being dispatched to our customers.

The fuel tank is designed for the safe storage and transfer of fuels such as diesel or petrol. Built to strict safety and environmental standards, these tanks are commonly used across industries including construction, transport and energy. They are engineered to prevent leaks, minimise contamination and ensure reliable fuel supply for machinery and operations.

The clean oil tanks serve a critical role in storing unused or refined oils that are essential for lubrication and hydraulic systems. These tanks are widely used in industrial environments where maintaining oil purity is vital to the performance and longevity of equipment. Their design ensures that contaminants are kept out, preserving oil quality and reducing maintenance costs for end users.

The waste oil tank, on the other hand, is used for the safe collection and storage of used or contaminated oil. This is an important part of environmental compliance, allowing businesses to manage waste responsibly before disposal or recycling. These tanks are built to handle potentially hazardous materials, with features that prevent leaks and facilitate safe handling.

In addition to this batch, we are preparing a large TEBU tank fitted with a fuel gauge pump for dispatch. TEBU (Translational Environmental Bunded Unit) tanks are designed with integrated bunding to provide an additional layer of protection against spills. The inclusion of a fuel gauge pump allows for accurate monitoring and efficient fuel dispensing, making these tanks ideal for sites where fuel management and environmental safety are a priority.

We also have a standard steel fuel storage tank currently awaiting galvanising and painting. Galvanising provides a protective zinc coating that significantly enhances corrosion resistance, extending the lifespan of the tank particularly in harsh or outdoor environments. Once painted, the tank will not only meet durability requirements but also align with customer specifications for finish and appearance.

These projects reflect Blake Group’s ongoing commitment to quality, safety and reliability. From initial fabrication through to finishing and final fit-out, each tank is built to meet the specific operational needs of our customers while adhering to the highest industry standards.

As these units move closer to completion and delivery, we look forward to supporting our clients with robust, dependable storage solutions that keep their operations running smoothly.
