We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Experience in manufacturing or industrial operations is highly desirable.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
As a accounting and financer, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
- Perform cost accounting related to raw materials, production processes, and finished steel products.
- Monitor inventory valuation, material consumption, and production costs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide cost control recommendations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Analyse operational data to improve financial efficiency within manufacturing processes.
- Oversee fixed assets management and depreciation schedules.
