We are a reputable metal and steel fabrication company specialising in structural steel, custom metal works and industrial fabrication solutions. We are offering apprenticeship opportunities for motivated individuals who are eager to build a career in the metal and steel fabrication industry. This program provides hands-on training, mentorship from experienced fabricators, and the opportunity to gain practical skills in a dynamic workshop environment.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum secondary school education (Mathematics and Technical subjects advantageous)
- Strong interest in metalwork, welding or mechanical trades
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic technical or workshop experience is an advantage but not required
Responsibilities
As an apprentice, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist skilled fabricators and welders in daily workshop operations
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery under supervision
- Assist with cutting, bending, welding, and assembling metal components
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in structured training and skills development programs
