The Fabrications Division consists of a team of specialist steel fabricators and steelwork craftsmen. These craftsmen have a proven track record of quality installations in commercial and residential building projects. Overseeing projects and production, every member of the Fabrications Division Management Team has practical experience, knowledge and the necessary skills to complete complex engineering projects from the design and planning stage, through to successful completion.
Our Fabrications Division work with leading national companies such as Miller Group and Taylor Wimpey. We are also involved in significant engineering projects such as the Forth Crossing Bridge Consortium.
The specialism of our team has also allowed us to be involved in many niche projects. These include the Pegasus Project, the Mega Sloth (for the Scottish National Museum) and the centrepiece for Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh.
The quality and professionalism of our skilled tradesmen ensures that both major national companies and one-off specialist interests, instruct the Blake Group for their varied and often interesting requirements.

FCBC has been working together with Blake Group over the past 3 years completing various steelworks packages on all areas of the project, as well as providing labour only welders when required to do so by FCBC. Blake Group’s current subcontract orders for the Project are in the region of £1m and throughout working on the Forth Replacement Crossing they have shown excellent commitment to quality and performance.
Blake Group has acted diligently and professional throughout being on the Forth Replacement Crossing completing their works on time and to a consistent high standard. As a result a close working relationship has been built between both parties and Blake Group continue to tender and complete works for FCBC.
