Blake Tanks have recently supplied four vertical cylindrical mixing tanks to augment the production capabilities at Ferguson and Menzies in Glasgow.
The installation incorporates four vertical mixing tanks:- 2 x 2.5M diameter 7M high 25,000L; 1 x 1.8M diameter 6M high 15,500L and 1 x stainless steel 1,200L.
Ferguson and Menzies Ltd is an independent Scottish company based in Glasgow for over 100 years and is the only manufacturer of Opus Lubricants and Opus Construction products in Scotland. F&M is one of the foremost suppliers of Pine Oil in the UK, selling Pine Oils and Terpenes to formulators of household and industrial cleaning products. They are the main distributor in Scotland for GreenChem AdBlue, required to allow heavy commercial vehicles to meet Euro 4 and Euro 5 emission standards.
New mixing tanks for Ferguson and Menzies
F&M also manufacture a comprehensive range of synthetic, mineral and biodegradable based lubricants under the brand name Opus Lubricants. They are designed for use in the automotive, agricultural, haulage, plant hire and engineering industries.
