Blake Group are currently looking for apprentice steel fabricators/welders to join the team at our engineering facility in Edinburgh.
You will learn and develop valuable skills and best practice while working alongside our experienced fabricators, manufacturing in both steel and stainless steel.
Work will include: Welding, fabrication and sheet metalwork, including shearing, folding etc. Fitting and assembly duties including the use of hand tools and marking out. Learn how to read drawings, measure and inspect products.
Opportunity to work in various departments to gain a broad knowledge of steel fabrication.

- Cope with physically demanding work
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Be willing to learn and develop
College enrolment (day release) to gain SVQ level 3 qualifications.
