I am sure you have received a number of emails from clients and suppliers referring to the outbreak of COVID-19 Coronavirus. As with all responsible businesses in the UK, we are following all Government regulations and NHS health guidelines in response this growing threat.
I wish to reassure everyone associated with Blake Group, as a top priority we are taking all recommended actions to ensure the health of our people and those we work with.
To better understand our actions and the current situation, below highlights what is happening within the company:
Health & Safety
- Following Government regulations as required
- Providing access for all to washing facilities and sanitation products for personal hygiene
- Monitor NHS news channels to receive up-to-the-minute health updates
- Minimising face to face meetings with client factory visits by appointment only
- Staggering break times to reduce numbers in staff canteen area
- Sanitising all surfaces in the office and in staff canteen area
Operations
- Monitoring production schedules and minimising any impact the COVID-19 might create
- Communicate with suppliers – as yet no disruption and operations continue as normal
- In the event new more severe measures are required, adhere to Government regulations
Due to such uncertainty about the
short to medium term impact on the health of our workforce, we are prepared for
further measures to be taken if necessary. Should operations be impacted,
I will communicate any updates in a timely manner to staff, clients and
