Wind Farm Bund Trays
Blake Group is taking part in the ongoing development of a wind farm installation in Dunbar, Scotland.
These bund trays are used to contain oil from transformers, providing environmental protection for this green energy generation site. Each bund is constructed from 3mm thick grade S275 mild steel, protected with two coats of zinc-rich paint. The trays measure 2m x 2.5m x 0.5m high and are capable of storing up to 2500 litres of oil. They can also be stacked for storage or during transport and include lifting eyes for crane use.
We are currently mid-way through the supply of bund trays, which is expected to continue into September 2009.
