Bespoke Bio-Diesel Tank Completed For GCA Joint Venture
Blake Group recently won the design and manufacture contract of a bespoke 18,000 Litre Bio-Diesel Steel Bunded Tank for a joint-venture between Galliford Try/Costain/Atkins known as ‘GCA’.
The steel tank, which incorporates a number of key features including pump house, alarm systems, submersible immersion heater and access ladder with platform, is destined for end user United Utilities in Lancashire and is part of the company’s £440m AMP4 Capital Investment Programme.
Following this successful bid, Blake Group is now a preferred manufacturer of steel tanks to the GCA joint-venture who’s scope of work covers a portfolio of around 60 United Utilities water and wastewater projects in England.
